Shiloh Baptist Church’s vision Statement

 

****Vision Statement Described****

The Vision Statement that was adopted on October 6, 1994 states:

"Shiloh Baptist Church is a congregation of committed persons located on the southeast side of the City of Waukegan in a neighborhood which is economically and socially deprived.  The members of the congregation desire to extend its mission by becoming more involved in the affairs of the community through the following ministries:

Ø   Bible Study - Application of biblical principles

Ø   Evangelism and Missions (winning souls and meeting needs)

Ø   Bible Based Social Functions

Ø   Support groups: Family Counseling, Bereavement, Alcohol and Drug Abuse, etc.

Ø   Ministries for Youth and Adults: Young Church, Children Church, Men's Ministry, etc.

Ø   Family Ministries: Wedding, Premarital Counseling, Family Roles and Responsibilities, Singles, etc.

Ø   Discipleship Training

These ministries are to enrich and enliven the lives of the members of Shiloh Baptist Church as well as attract and minister to members from the community at large."
