Fear is an emotion of alarm in reaction to a real or perceived threat or danger. Anxiety is a general, long-term feeling of uneasiness or restlessness. Worry is the mental action of thinking over fears or contemplating worse case scenarios.
Common fears include potential disasters, losing control, being revealed for who we are, disappointing people, being rejected, facing the past, failure, making decisions and choices, and changes in our relationship with God.
